Cata Echegaray es una artista con base en Barcelona, en 2017 se embarcó a levantar su propio estudio: Bonitos Pottery, un lugar mágico situado en el vibrante barrio de Poblenou. Allí crea sus colecciones y diseños de cerámica, compartiendo el taller con otras artistas, creando así una sinergia entre trabajo y relaciones humanas.
 
 
“Cuando investigo el diseño de las piezas que hago no siempre sale a la primera, me gusta sentir con cada trabajo una conexión personal y dejar espacio para que las piezas hablen por si mismas.
En cada proyecto busco un equilibrio entre simplicidad, funcionalidad y elegancia.”
 
 
A base de ensayo y error Cata busca la obra que realmente transmita una emoción, para que cuando tenga un hogar, un espacio, aporte tanto diseño como armonía.
 
Son creaciones hechas a mano con materiales 100% naturales y mucha dedicación puesta en cada una de ellas. Más allá de la estética, no se sienten cómo meros objetos sino que aportan un mensaje.

Cata Echegaray is an artist based in Barcelona, in 2017 she embarked to set up her own studio: Bonitos Pottery, a magical place located in the vibrant neighborhood of Poblenou. There she creates her ceramic collections and designs, sharing the workshop with other artists, thus creating a synergy between work and human relationships.
 
 
"When I research the design of the pieces I make it doesn't always come out the first time, I like to feel with each work a personal connection and leave space for the pieces to speak for themselves.
In each project I look for a balance between simplicity, functionality and elegance."
 
 
Through trial and error Cata looks for the work that really conveys an emotion, so that when you have a home, a space, it brings both design and harmony.
 
They are handmade creations with 100% natural materials and a lot of dedication put into each one of them. Beyond the aesthetics, they do not feel like mere objects but bring a message.
